Our helicopter service is operated under a partnership between NorCopter AS and Otium. All operational, maintenance, charter and reservation functions are managed by NorCopter, which has broad experience in helicopter transport and operations (in compliance with the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority’s Air Operator Certificate (AOC)). The helicopter is owned by the property development company Otium, which only uses it when no other bookings have been made.
Kjetil Føyen is Flight Operations Manager in NorCopter and is a pilot with long and broad experience. He began his pilot training in 1990 and started his career as a helicopter pilot on Greenland. He later flew helicopters in the North Sea for several years, as well as Boeing 737 passenger airliners. He subsequently flew for the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre and the police force. Since he began at NorCopter, which was established in 2000, Kjetil has also gained extensive experience in flying domestic helicopter routes. Kjetil has provided his services for a number of Norwegian and foreign film and photo assignments and has also worked as a helicopter training instructor.
